As a Singaporean, it pains me to see fellow countrymen being killed and injured while being overseas, away from home. It dawned on me of life's fragility and irregularities. While we celebrate this festive season, I would urge everyone to take one step back to mourn for our fellow Singaporeans who have lost their lives, and also to be grateful to the gift of life which we still possess. It is important that we take good care of ourselves so as not to bring grief and sadness to the people around us. Irregardless of being in or out of Singapore, there is this old Chinese adage: Caution is the parent of safety <小心驶得万年船 > Take care and have a happy new year.

Just had to blog this. Woke up with a bad headache cos I had to deal with a super ultra powerful monster/vampire/demon lord in my dreams before I woke up. We fought this Phantom Lancer look-alike monster (see pic, similar minus the fact that the monster is fiercer and not as handsome as in the pic but more hairy/muscular) I had assistance from Chouji, and in case you're wondering who's that, here's his pic:We fight fight fight until Chouji became thin but still cannot win I think I gave up and just woke up, with a terrible terrible terrible headache. Damn.

First Day of School
Took a 60 odd minutes train to Dover, and took bus 74.. After a long long journey admiring the scenery, I find myself in Holland V. Bus uncle turn around and spoke to me, "小弟,你要去哪里？Last Stop liao." Then only did I realise... I took the wrong bus! Eh! No leh, is correct leh, bus 74 没有错.. Alamak! Wrong direction.
Then all of a sudden, a thought flashed through my mind.. The thought can be spelt as P-O-N-T-A-N-G. But! Being the studious, diligent, hardworking student that I am, I dismissed the thought (with great struggle), and decided to cross to the opposite bus stop to go to school.
After a another long long journey admiring the scenery, I find myself turning back and see the school sign trailing further and further away from me. Alamak! Missed my stop! Using my superhuman reflexes, lightning speed and swift movement.. I pressed the bell and alighted.
Then all of a sudden, another thought flashed through my mind.. The thought can be spelt as P-O-N, in short form this time. But! Being the studious, diligent, hardworking student that I am, I dismissed the thought (with another bout of great struggle), and decided to walk to school.
Thus I began my long expedition towards school. Along the way, an Indian guy driving a mini-van pulled over at the side road and asked me for directions. Being the studious, diligent, hardworking student that I am, too concerned with how to get to class on time, I pointed at a general direction which I can't remember. Only thing memorable is the driver thanking me profusely.
Alas! I've made my way into the lecture hall after a 5 mins walk. Well, was late for 30 mins, but as the saying goes.. "Better Late then Never". My first day of school.
